TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms and Conditions
Below are Icarus Skyward Technologies terms and conditions.
Weather and Cancellations
Icarus Skyward Technologies do our best to keep an eye on the weather as far in advance as we can. If the forecast is looking unsuitable for a booked date, we will always aim to notify the client as early as we can to make other arrangements. As the weather plays a key part in allowing us to fly, if conditions go against us (rain, strong winds) and we are not able to shoot, another day for filming will be re-scheduled and the deposit will be transferred to this date.
If another date cannot be scheduled, or there is a cancellation due to any other issue and the client decides that they no longer wish to use our services, the 25% deposit will not be refunded, unless due to exceptional circumstances. All refunds will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
Please note that by agreeing to the job and paying the 25% deposit, you’re agreeing to these terms and conditions and Icarus Skyward Technologies decision in regards to refunds are final. Additionally, if there are any other incurred costs to Icarus Skyward Technologies, these will be chargeable to the client and are subject to our normal invoice terms.

Restricted Areas
The UK is swathed with restricted air space and it may be necessary to request permission to fly within those areas. Any restrictions will be identified as part of our pre-deployment planning. Please be aware that if additional permissions are required, it may be necessary to wait until these are given before we can confirm a date for the flight.
Some areas within the UK require “Extended Permissions” approval by the CAA. We cannot guarantee that we will be given approval to fly in these areas, but will discuss this with you as necessary.
Safety
For all operations we run a risk-assessment as part of our pre-deployment and on-site surveys, to assess what safety precautions we need to put in place prior to the flight. These precautions are a requirement to ensure the safety of persons and property, as well as regulation determined by the CAA. If for any reason the Pilot In Charge deems that the current risk is to high, they are obliged to postpone or discontinue the flight until satisfied that all safety precautions are in place to reduce the risk to as low as practically possible and within acceptable levels.
